The PAVE Cave is committed to protecting the privacy of everyone who visits this site. This policy explains what information the site collects, why, and who sees it. In short: we collect very little, we don’t track you, and we never sell or share your information.
What we don’t do
- We don’t use cookies to track you, and we don’t use advertising or analytics trackers.
- We don’t sell, rent or trade anyone’s information.
- We don’t ask you to create an account.
Information you send us
The site has four forms. Each one emails what you type to the webmaster. Nothing you send through a form is stored on the website itself.
- Contact form: your name, email address and message. We use them only to reply to you.
- Lineage registration: your name, nickname, rank, PAVE LOW job, unit, dates and short bio may be published on the lineage pages. Your email address is never published. We use it only to ask about your entry.
- Memorial submission: the details you give about the person may be published on the Memorial Wall after the webmaster reviews them. Your own name and email are never published.
- Cancer tracking database: this form is anonymous. It doesn’t ask for your name or email, and the email we receive doesn’t say who sent it. Entries go to the webmaster and to Tom Green, who maintains the database.
If you’ve asked to hear about important community announcements, we may keep your email address for that purpose. To be removed, email contact@pavelow.org.
Donations
Donations are processed by Square and collected by StratPoint Solutions LLC. The PAVE Cave never sees or stores your card details. Square handles your payment information under the Square Privacy Notice (opens in a new tab).
Hosting and security
The site is hosted on Cloudflare. Like any web server, it keeps limited technical records of visits, such as IP addresses, for security and troubleshooting. Cloudflare may set a strictly necessary security cookie to protect the site from automated attacks. It doesn’t identify you or follow you to other sites.
Videos and links to other sites
Videos on this site play from Rumble. Nothing loads from Rumble until you press play. After that, Rumble’s own privacy policy applies. Links to other websites, such as our Facebook, LinkedIn and Flickr groups, take you to sites with their own privacy practices. We aren’t responsible for their content or policies.
