Bud Dow was killed in a motorcycle crash in Thailand on or about November 12th, 2012. He was traveling with his wife (girlfriend?), who was also killed in the crash. They were on a motorcycle crossing a bridge in Thailand when it happened. The exact details are not as important as that many of us had a deep admiration of Bud. His son, whom he had not seen for 12 years was visiting him in Thailand and was there dealing with this tragedy.
